Purchased a new mattress and bedroom set, over $1500. The salesman told us for $10 the would dispose our old king mattress.
When they arrived they told us the mattress was too old (not even 10 yrs old). We told them that was not what we were told and that the mattress simply need to be thrown out in order to get the new one in. The young men said we are only allowed to dispose new items...what? Why would we ever have them throw out a new mattress?!?!
They said its policy. No where in the policy does it state the mattress should be new...ludicrous! With that my husband told them then take everything back, we don't want any of your stuff and will stop payment. Rather than trying to work something out, they left at 6 pm without even trying to make the customer happy.
Called customer service and he was useless and kept telling me "I'll take notes but I'm just a customer service agent at the call center listed on the website...sorry, thought that's who you might call in this situation!
Taking our $ elsewhere! Not pleased at all with the lack of professionalism!
Reviewer is in unhappy mood. This person is quite happy with salesman and stated that there is a room for improvement of delivery men or the customer service and poor customer service. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss poor customer service of steinhafels customer care. Steinhafels needs to read this review and look into the issue (if any) according to poster's claims.
