When purchasing a dining room set for $1,400.00, I was told that the lead time would be 3-4 weeks. The lead time was more than double that. This would have been fine if I wasn't misled by the sales person.

Finally, the item arrived in their warehouse, and I was contacted to set up a delivery date. I said Monday would be fine but that I work during the day (as most people do). I was then told that I can't schedule a time and that they would e-mail me my window of time. My time was of course while I was at work, so I called to reschedule. Now the item will go back to their warehouse before I can even reschedule. I am now supposed to wait two more days for them to call me to set up a new day that "might" work.

Backwards customer service, illogical delivery system, and very very long lead times. I will never buy anything from this company again.

and by the way... Steinhafels uses the same warehouse for every store.

So it isnt thier fault if after they load it on the truck and you change your mind about when you want it delivered!

The reason they cant schedule your delivery is because they have no idea how many deliveries that will end up being scheduled in your area. a 2 hour time frame is better that "sometime between 9am and 9pm from everyone else!

don't schedule something on a day you are working everyone has days off duh! you don't work 7 days a week you can be home for a delivery especially since your the one who bought and and wanted it!
